Although this website is public, this page is unlisted. By some random chance of fate and happenstance (and against all odds) you've ended up in this quiet little place. Well, I'm happy you're here; welcome! Do we know each other? Ah, it's okay, whether we do or don't, I'm glad you're here. So, with that, come and sit with me for a while, let's chat!
I wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for being here, for being with me, for sharing this world, this life, and this moment with me. I do not know what led to us crossing paths or who you are reading this right now, but I can only assume there was a reason you landed here, and so, for whatever that may mean, I do genuinely mean it when I say all of this.
Thank you to my mom and thank you to my dad - the both of you, equally, for raising me, for providing me with every single thing I could ever need to realize my own dreams, aspirations, and goals, for supporting me without compromise and without exception every single hour of every single day, no matter what. We are all such vastly different people, but I would not be the person I am today without the both of you. I acknowledge that saying thanks has been a tough thing for me to say sometimes, but I promise you both that your sacrifices, your efforts, the blood, sweat, tears, and frustrations, the unknowns, and all of the incredible hurdles that have faced you two all this way mean more than I can ever describe, and I mean that. So thank you, both of you.
To my mom and dad; you gave me life, you gave me a life, you shared every waking moment of yours ensuring mine would know the same unconditional love and happiness that you had for each other, and neither of you ever once faltered in making the world a place I could survive and thrive in. It was through your collective drive that I found the strength and motivation to do well in school, to become more than the sum of my parts, to enrich and embolden myself, and to be the kind of person that my future friends, families, and coworkers could trust and rely on.
You taught me the value of honesty, of knowledge, of kindness, and paying it forward.
You made sure I understood the karmic forces of the universe and to always be a force for good, no matter what life had in store for me.
You made sure that I could live my life as my true self, happy, healthy, and safe, no matter what, free of judgement.
You worked yourselves to the bone to be the parents that every child on this planet would be grateful to have, and for that alone, I thank you a million times over.
For the warm home you provided, the clean clothing you gave me, the lovingly cooked meals, the wisdom shared, the experiences had, and everything that came with all of it, thank you.
Today, to say I hold multiple degrees, can provide well for myself, can explore all the interests and hobbies and arts I enjoy, and can live my life the way I see fit are only attributed to all you two have put in to getting me here.
Thank you mom, thank you dad.
I love you both with every single ounce of my being, and more.
Thank you to my friends, past, present, and future - all of you, with every ounce of my being. Thank each and every one of you for helping me realize my true self, for allowing me the time, space, and consideration to find out who I was and am and will be, and for being the supports, rocks, and pillars of my being for so many years. You have all done more for me than I could ever ask, and you have all done so selflessly, without question, for as long as I known all of you. I can never overstate enough just how much that means to me, and there is no amount of thanks in the world that can possibly cover the extent I feel indebted to all of you for being all you are to me.
Thank you all so, so, so very much. Whether you are in my life today or not, you were a part of what has made my life such a rich and vibrant experience, and there is no plainer way to say thank you than just saying it, because it's the whole damn truth. I love you guys so much. As much as I love to run solo at times, going radio silent for long stretches of time, coming and going where I can, you need to know that every single moment I have spent with all of you have made every single moment of my life infinitely more enjoyable. My life is so full of love and laughter from the good times and memories shared with all of you, and there is no way in hell I could possibly ask for better people to call friends.
Thank you, all of you, each and every one, so dang much, y'all really are everything to me.
To the person reading this that may feel they do not fall into either category - friend or family - just know that you are both to me. My friends are my family, and my families are my world. I would and will do anything and everything for them. You sharing this moment with me, reading through this and hearing this makes you a part of this. Maybe you've found this by complete random coincidence, but you were meant to be here for a reason, so thank you too.
Whoever you are, know that you are loved and valued and important. Your significance can never be overstated and the world is a truly warmer, brighter, and more lovely place with you in it. I'm proud to share this place with you, with my friends, with my family.
I'm so grateful, for all of you, for everything.
I love you, thank you for being here.
